Now, I know life sometimes throws things at you, the worst possible things that truly hurt. And I’m sure, like me, you can probably think of a few moments of pain in your life.
I’ve had time to think and process things and I’ve realised that the process of grief isn’t always black and white. Grief is a mixture of emotions. I think the phrase broken heart is absolutely perfect at times and it’s obviously a cliche, but sometimes I think it feels more numb than broken - just kind of surreal. So, I took that idea and found a title that I liked and I thought had some mileage as a song and wrote this. It’s called ‘Nowhere Heart’...
